Verdict

Distant Moon is a half-brother to winners on the all-weather and is one to watch in the market ahead of his introduction in the Godolphin blue for Saeed bin Suroor. King's Cavalry may have a fitness edge over some after finishing second on his return over C&D last month, when only beaten a length, but a chance is taken on MASKED WARRIOR. Third on debut before an odds-on second at Nottingham, he has been gelded since and looks all set for a decent season.

Watch out for: King's Cavalry (4)

KING'S CAVALRY is a big, powerful colt and may prove best of these having run well on his seasonal debut. The major concern is the fast ground which will not ideally suit his quite round action. Masked Warrior looks a big danger having been well backed on his second 2yo start and run creditably. He may just need the run. Galba may also be better than we have seen having run well for a long way on his reappearance and being quite a nice type. The newcomer Race To The Edge was an expensive purchase and is worth monitoring in the market.
