Verdict

There are a couple of C&D winners in here and KNIGHT TEMPLAR is the most interesting of them. He put a disappointing Lingfield effort behind him when finishing a solid second at Southwell and the five-year-old has since won over hurdles. Naasma is the other previous track-and-trip winner and she has performed well in defeat at Lingfield this year. Sword Of Wessex is another to take seriously.

Watch out for: Naasma (3)

Knight Templar has been in good form under both codes, making a winning return to hurdles last time having previously finished a good second over 12f on the AW at Southwell. He's respected back on the Flat off this mark with stamina not a concern but SWORD OF WESSEX looks a possible improver upped to a staying trip for the first time having taken a nice step in the right direction when a keeping on fifth over 13f at Lingfield last time. Fleurman can't be relied on but he is well handicapped and now gets a first-time visor so could have a say.
