CONSTITUTION HILL is a proven crowd pleaser with the demolition job he provided on his Flat debut at Southwell last month being extremely impressive and the 7lb penalty is of little concern for Nicky Henderson's superstar. Classical Allusion cosily landed a maiden at the same venue on his racecourse bow last September. With improvement likely, Andrew Balding's four-year-old is an obvious danger. His stablemate Serviceman and Roadlesstravelled are each-way alternatives.

Hard to go against CONSTITUTION HILL in this for all that it would be nice to see him do it again on the Flat before hailing him a star - he is a 9yo after all. His debut win at Southwell set up perfectly with the pace not holding up, so there's a chance he was a little flattered, but even so we know how classy he is and it'll be deflating if he can't defy a penalty before swiching to turf and tackling a better class of rival. Classical Allusion scored with a bit in hand on debut at Southwell, beating an 80-rated rival, and he looks the danger on this return with him bred to get better with age. He can chase the favourite home, with Roadlesstravelled again a strong candidate for a place having finished runner-up, albeit a well beaten one, behind the selection at Southwell.
