Verdict

WHATDEAWANT was no match for former Welsh National winner Nassalam on his hunter chase bow at Hexham last month. That said, he was well clear of the third Settle Down Jill, who reopposes along with Brandy Mcqueen and Dressedtoimpress, both of whom were pulled up, and the 10-year-old makes plenty of appeal in a bid to go one better. Eagles Rock won on his latest point-to-point start and is interesting.

WHATDEAWANT really ought to win this if building on his recent course second at Hexham. Formerly classy for Willie Mullins back in the day, he's capable of fair form still and rates the most likely winner. Northern Bound perhaps needed the run at Ludlow last time when making his hunter chase debut. He's considered on his earlier handicap success. Brandy McQueen is third choice although needs to bounce back having pulled up last time.
