Expert View Verdict

Verdict

Rhoscolyn has won similar races four times off higher marks, and scored twice here in weaker races, but he will need to bounce back from his Epsom 11th last month where he did not get the run of the race. He can go well, but I'LL BE BACK is the possible improver. The winner of both starts by a length over shorter, he could be well handicapped with the potential for more to come. English Oak is another to consider on his better efforts.

A good little handicap, Salam Dubawi enters the race in fine form and finished a good third at York just the other day in the John Smith's Cup. He must go well once more, but the unbeaten 3yo I'LL BE BACK is taken to prove too progressive. The form of his Leicester win, under a penalty, couldn't have worked out any better with the second and fourth both showing themselves to be smart handicapper's since and the third going in also. His opening mark of 92 is no piece of came, but he's a smart prospect. Noelan Star struggled at Royal Ascot but was progressive previously and could have a say also.
