Verdict

ZEPHLYN hasn't been pulling up any trees lately but he was successful twice over C&D in May last year, including in this race from 5lb higher. A number of these still need to truly prove themselves over two miles and, with that in mind, he could be too strong. Fleur De Mer and Captain Robert both arrive following a string of consistent efforts and wouldn't need much more to come out on top.

Captain Robert has been a model of consistency on the AW since his last turf run in October and should again go well, but FLEUR DE MER has been in decent form of late and promises to be well suited by the step up to 2m. She earns the vote with Not So Sobers, a winner over hurdles last time, pick of the remainder. He does need more back on the level, though.
