Verdict

HOSTILITY has improved on his last couple of starts at this venue, finishing runner-up to the reopposing Krissy before going one better over a mile last time, and the booking of Joanna Mason gives him an excellent chance of going in again. The aforementioned Krissy bounced back from a couple of underwhelming efforts when scoring at Musselburgh and she is expected to be in the mix. Other to consider are Mr Lincoln and Bellasio.

The big guns look to be on the best horses here and this should go to Joanna Mason on HOSTILITY. He is a difficult ride needing holding-up and delivering late after working his way through traffic but he won with a good bit in hand last time and can follow-up. Mr Lincoln has been in good form on the Flat and over hurdles and can contend but this trip will be sharp enough. Krissy can also go close if getting an uncontested lead. She is very erratic but when things go right does tend to win.
