Verdict
STEEL PIER was 2nd over track and trip last time ahead of CAMPO FORMIO and HANDSOME BADGER so won't have to improve much to go one better. That said, the latter was debuting on that occasion and is open to any amount of improvement with that experience to count on. BERRY LANCER has both the form and experience to play a role in the outcome and is also likely to improve after a subsequent gelding operation. NOBLE SAINT fits a similar profile on his reappearance after a pleasing debut. Newcomers KINGS PARK and MADRID are worth a market check on debut.
