Saint-Cloud Horse Racing Tips

There are a few well-related runners in this field, starting off with DNIPRO (1) whose granddam Pearl Banks won features in both Germany and France. This gelding also put up an excellent barrier trial. CONTADOR (5) is related to UK 2000 Guineas winner Special Duty and should be competitive. Filly SAINTE MARTHE (7) is also well connected and will receive weight from the colts. So will LIKE A DOVE (11) who looks to be an interesting prospect.

EBIYAR (1) looks to have lots of ability and even though he finished 6th in a Gr3 on his comeback run, he was not far off the placed runners. This longer trip should be ideal for him. Well-bred LEFTEYE (10) appears to be highly regarded by her connections and has winning credentials. EGYPTIAN GLORY (9) looks well weighted and should contest the finish while JABRACADABRA (5) will attempt to keep her unbeaten record this season intact.

After winning a Gr3 at Vichy in July MONT DE SOLEIL (1) was given a good break and clearly needed his comeback run in March. Will improve on that and has the ability to concede weight and hand a beating to his six rivals. BELLANO (6) will progress from his last start and could provide the biggest threat while there should be little to separate POTEMKINE (4) and ALEM (2) on their last run where both finished behind the selection.

COETZEE (1) has beaten some top runners in feature events and will be having his first run in a Claimer. He looks far better than his rivals and despite returning from a break, remains the runner to beat. AQUAMAN (9) has been performing well in Germany against some decent opposition and off a light weight should be competitive. DON'T SHUT ME DOWN (3) has won at this course and has an opportunity to shine again PENTAOUR (4) looks suited to this drop in class.

LHASA (10) finished behind ENORA SENORA (6) last time and meets her on favourable weight terms. The daughter of Cloth Of Stars can turn the form around. ENORA SENORA (6) returned to winning ways over this course and distance, on 17 April. She merits healthy respect. EMPRESS STAR (3) is in good form heading into this race. With luck in running, she can return to winning ways. LADIVA (14) has finished second in her last two starts. She does have a wide draw to contend with but will be running on.

SUMMER FLIRT (5) is in good form under Cristian Demuro. With luck from her wide barrier position, she can notch up her third victory this year. JUST FOR GAB'S (10) has not finished too far off the winner in recent outings and she is one of the leading contenders. CATHERINE'S GIFT (2) was doing her best work late when fifth at Angers last time. Maxime Guyon steps back into the saddle. LA CRACK PRECIEUSE (13) drops back in distance and on best form shown, she should have a say in the outcome of this contest.

KEEN APPROACH (13) narrowly missed out on victory over this course and distance on 17 April. Mickael Barzalona retains the ride, and she can return to winning ways. NARCOS (6) returned to winning ways over this course and distance on 5 March. He merits healthy respect. SIJOUX (5) finished behind KEEN APPROACH (13) when fourth last time and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish. TOKYO DREAMER (15) is well-positioned at the bottom of the weights and should produce another honest run.
