56 Expert View: Without Parole colt; showed very little well beaten in a novice at Beverley only start; sire classy miler, dam fair over middle distances; needs a lot more on second start.
84 Expert View: 30,000gns Lope Y Fernandez colt; promising, outran market expectations runner-up beaten 2 1/2l in a maiden at Carlisle only start; effective 7f, acts on good to firm; needs to build on that, but improvement likely.
72 Expert View: £24,000 Space Traveller gelding; poor beaten 10l in a novice at Ayr on debut; sire very useful up to a mile, dam unraced; plenty more needed here.
55 Expert View: 17 Apr; 5,000gns Churchill colt; half-brother to Leodis Dream, very smart at 5f; dam useful at 5f at 2yo; probably best watched on debut.
66 Expert View: £25,000 Blackbeard filly; poor after getting upset in stalls well beaten in a novice at Ripon only start; sire top-class sprinter, dam unraced; plenty of improvement needed over this longer trip.
85 Expert View: 1,500gns Space Traveller filly; improving with each start 3l third in a novice at Ripon most recent run; wide draw; effective 6f, should get further on evidence, acts on a sound surface; more to come upped in trip.
96 Expert View: 19,000 euros Lucky Vega filly; very promising runner-up beaten 1/2l in a maiden at Doncaster only start; trainer in form; effective 7f, acts on good to firm; plenty more to come.
Verdict
CORAL COVE made a highly encouraging debut when narrowly beaten by half a length at Doncaster and, with James Owen's yard continuing in fine form, the Lucky Vega filly looks the one to beat with natural improvement expected. Travellers Girl has progressed with each of her three starts over 6f, finishing a close third at Ripon last time and shapes as though this step up to 7f will suit. The First Drop also made a promising start when runner-up at Carlisle from a big price and should have plenty more to offer with that experience under his belt.
