Expert View Verdict

Verdict

Bongo Man has his first start over fences, but is related to plenty of winning chasers and may leave his hurdling form behind. Zero Tolerance has shown the ability for this game, but ELECTRIC EDDY gets the nod. Successful here over hurdles, he was pulled up after jumping poorly at Huntingdon back in December but may be better judged on his Hereford second off 1lb higher, which would give him every chance.

Top Tip: Electric Eddy (3)
Watch out for: Bongo Man (1)

This could be fought out by the chase debutants at the top of the weights in Bongo Man and ALBA CRUS. The former proved inconsistent over hurdles but is well treated on his best form and has the assistance of Sean Bowen. It is the latter who is preferred though for a yard whose horses tend to improve for the switch to fences. The bumper winner is on a fair mark judged on his best efforts over hurdles and is entitled to come on for his last outing. Electric Eddy has proven generally consistent and is forgiven his last run on unsuitable easy ground. He may complete the tricast on his return from a break.
