Expert View Verdict

Verdict

Linda Perratt's yard remains in fine form and the recent Ayr winner SIXCOR can go in again, despite a penalty. The eight-year-old does most of his winning at the latter track, but has won here in the past and can make the long journey down from Scotland worthwhile in this lowly company. Fancy Dancer has a shout at the weights and makes more appeal than Happier and Poetic Jack.

Watch out for: Fancy Dancer (4)

A poor race where SIXCOR is the most logical option. He snapped a long losing run over 5f on fast ground recently and his yard has been in excellent form of late. Happier has been struggling of late but she has been racing over stretching trips and should be happier back over the minimum trip. The previous tapeta winner looks the main danger ahead of the other mare in the race Fancy Dancer. The former course winner hinted at a revival last time but isn't one to rely on building on that.
