Expert View Verdict

Verdict

While plenty of these arrive with something to prove, it might be wise to stick with TRUST SERGEI. Gary Hanmer's charge filled the runner-up spot over 5f here last month but a return to 6f will be no bad thing and a similar level of performance might suffice. Unexposed three-year-old Sunlit Sea can be forgiven a lacklustre seasonal return and is of interest now tried in first-time cheekpieces, while On Key can be expected to run his usual honest race.

Watch out for: Sunlit Sea (11)

SUNLIT SEA ran abysmally last time but she is forgiven her sole turf outing to date where she didn't take the the visor. Different headgear is tried here and she proved consistent if a touch frustrating on the AW last year. If coming on for her reappearance she can get the better off the consistent but frustrating maiden On Key. Trust Sergei has proven erratic but he likes the track and is below his last winning mark so is also given a chance.
