Waterford Castle has undoubted ability and won't be far away, but he's had opportunities similar to this previously and hasn't been able to take advantage. With that in mind, it might be wiser to side with the newcomer PARTYING. She fetched an eyewatering 4,400,000gns as a yearling and should be able to make an immediate impact. Thatcham is also noted.

Watch out for: Waterford Castle (4)

Partying cost a whopping 4,400,000gns but to be making her debut this late there's presumably been some issues. The daughter of Frankel could prove up to the task, with the betting likely to tell what's expected, but WATERFORD CASTLE sets a decent standard and a reproduction of his Glorious Goodwood third in first-time blinkers could be enough to see him off the mark. Thatcham is best of the rest but he seems likely to need this return.
