Expert View Verdict

Verdict

UNDER THE TWILIGHT bounced back to form when runner-up to a subsequent winner at Leicester and the eight-year-old has every chance of going one better off the same mark. Diligently's last success came over C&D in August and he hasn't been disgraced in either start this campaign. Photosynthesis turns out quickly after finishing fourth at Ascot on Friday and he is likely to be competitive once again.

Watch out for: Diligently (5)

DILIGENTLY appeals most in this sprint handicap with him having slipped to the same mark as when winning over C&D in August. He hasn't been at his best in two runs this year but there have been excuses. Zoulu Chief might have needed his run at Leicester, when returning to turf, and should do better here so rates the danger ahead of Carbine Harvester, who has undergone a wind op since his last run.
