Smashing renewal. MAIN DEFENDER bounced back to form when finishing ahead of GLADATORIAN in the Grade 1 Champions Cup meeting but the latter could reverse that form with the former poorly drawn. Defending champion TIN PAN ALLEY, gelded FIRE ATTACK, and Grade 1 winner COSMIC SPEED all have the means to play leading roles but are awkwardly positioned in wide barriers. ERIK DUBOIS would have tightened up after an encouraging comeback run so should make his presence felt. TEXAS RED, CHRONICLE KING, I'M A FIREBALL and TALK TO THE MASTER are others to consider in larger Pick 6 permutations.
