50 Expert View: Eastern Anthem horse; dam showed minor promise over 10f in France; likely to need this initial experience.
Form Snapshot: Dam a lightly raced maiden.
60 Expert View: Outpaced, may have needed stiffer test down the field in a novice at Windsor most recent; trainer in form; modest bumper performer, up against it on Flat until handicapping.
Form Snapshot: Beaten 16l behind Cuff It at 200-1 when 10th of 14 on his flat debut at Windsor over 1m 2f (good to soft) earlier this month.
83 Expert View: Outpaced, failed to build on debut, needed run beaten 8l in a novice at Windsor last time; bred to get 10f+; should come on for latest but probably one for handicaps.
Form Snapshot: Unplaced in both starts. Finished 8l behind Cuff It when sixth of 14 at 4-1 on his latest outing at Windsor over 1m 2f (good to soft) earlier this month.
71 Expert View: Outpaced, modest effort well beaten in a maiden at Wolverhampton only start; bred to get 10f; well fancied on debut, should leave that form behind now upped in distance.
Form Snapshot: Dam won three times at 1m 2f and 1m 4f. Beaten 12l behind Ramli at 4-5fav when eighth of 9 on his racecourse debut at Wolverhampton over 1m 1f earlier this month.
84 Expert View: Ran to form up in trip when second beaten a length in a novice at Windsor latest; effective 7-8f, acts on soft but fast ground should suit action; debut form franked, smart prospect.
Form Snapshot: Placed in all three of his starts. Beaten 1l by Bayaann when second of 11 at 10-3 on his latest outing at Windsor over 1m (good to soft) earlier this month.
62 Expert View: Improved from debut up in trip well beaten in a novice at Windsor latest; bred for middle distances; more to come but possibly in handicaps.
Form Snapshot: Unplaced in both starts. Beaten 11l behind Cuff It at 100-1 when eighth of 14 on his latest outing at Windsor over 1m 2f (good to soft) earlier this month.
62 Expert View: Filly by high-class middle-distance performer Study Of Man; half-sister to Ebury, very useful at 1m; dam very useful middle-distance performer Alabelle; probably effective 1m2f; top yard gets plenty of first time out winners; of interest.
Form Snapshot: Half-sister to Itsalonglongroad, won five times in chases between 1m 7f and 2m 2f, four times over the flat at 1m 4f and 1m 5f, twice over hurdles at 2m and 2m 1f and in an all-weather flat race at 1m 3f.
STORMING POINT is going to win a maiden like this sooner rather than later judged on the strength of his form at Newbury and Windsor in particular. Stretching out further in trip may also suit and he should take all of the beating. Aleatrix boasts a nice pedigree and is comfortably the pick of the newcomers going to post, but the main danger is Al Qatem, who is surely a lot better than what he showed on debut at Wolverhampton.
A decent maiden can go to STORMING POINT who has shown a consistent level of form on all 3 starts so far. He has slight doubts surrounding his stamina and the quicker ground but he sets a good standard here which the others may struggle to reach. Zachary Hickes needed the run last time following a long lay off but looks the main danger judged on his debut form while Al Qatem is also respected. He was ultimately well held first time out but he went off a short price and his breeding suggests he'll have much more to offer over this longer distance.
