Verdict

It can often be worth following Clive Cox at this venue and it is ORTHODOX who gets the nod. The Havana Grey colt fetched 175,000 euros as a yearling and, with plenty of speed on the dam's side, he could be a precocious type himself. American Psycho is another who makes considerable appeal on paper and although Mobadir might want a bit further in time, he still merits respect given his connections.

No form to go on here so a tentative selection is AMERICAN PSYCHO. He has plenty of speed in his pedigree and represents a yard which gets plenty of first time out 2yo winners. Hollie Doyle is a notable jockey booking as is Rossa Ryan on Orthodox. The colt's dam was a useful sprinter for the same stable and he could provide the main challenge. Mobadir is bred to be precocious and his yard has had a recent 2yo winning newcomer. He could also get involved.
