Verdict

NOT MY TYPE has looked every inch a Pattern race performer in the making judged on a ready debut success at Sandown and then a dominant all-the-way Beverley triumph. There could be more to come from William Haggas' charge and she's preferred to Rogue Jewel, who boasts a similar profile and a C&D win. Pure Mint also looked smart when scoring at this track and is another to take seriously.

Watch out for: Rogue Jewel (7)

A good little race, it may well go to one of the unbeaten runners with PURE MINT, who has only had one run, scoring impressively over this C&D. Although conditions might be slower here, his yard is no stranger to success in the race and he can defy his relative lack of experience. Second choice is Not My Type, who is 2-2 over 5f for William Haggas. She's from a good family and almost certainly capable of better still now at 6f, making her the danger, although Rogue Jewel, who is also 2-2, looks pretty smart herself and also has winning C&D form to her name which is a plus given the undulations of the track. Don't rule out Royal Ascot also-ran Silent Beauty either. She's been off since but had looked good on debut.
