Verdict

Yermanthere is easily overlooked only 3lb higher than when successful over C&D last month. Qitaal was not far behind the former in second and could also make his presence felt, but preference is for the unexposed filly WILD VIOLET. The daughter of Zarak has improved with every start culminating with a novice victory at Salisbury and she could prove better than her opening mark now handicapping.

Watch out for: Yermanthere (3)

MIDNIGHT STRIKE has the ability to strike in this, arriving off the back of a four and a quarter-length success at Beverley last time out. That said, he carries a stiff penalty. Yermanthere won two starts back and followed that up with a placed effort last time, while Qitaal looks to be on an upward curve, having finished in the placings on each of his last three outings.
