Verdict

KODIAK BREEZE showed lots of pace when fading into second on his introduction at Thirsk at the start of the month and would have learned a great deal from that experience. With any amount of improvement to come, he looks the way to go. Wells Fargo Stage is related to plenty of winners, including Royal Rascal, who won at Listed level as a juvenile. Any market confidence behind newcomer Sloequelle would be interesting.

KODIAK BREEZE showed plenty of promise on his debut, will be less green this time and has good claims. Plenty of others have shown a hint of ability. Kach Above closed late from a poor draw on his only start, Givendale wasn't given a hard time and had an interrupted run on her debut and Eighteenth Smiles like the selection was green under pressure on his only start. None of the newcomers appeals a lot on paper but the market may speak in their favour.
