Verdict

Having already scored five times this season, Edelak is sure to prove popular given his current vein of form. That said, the four-year-old is 8lb higher than his latest triumph in a small-field affair at Newton Abbot and preference is for Perth winner NAP HAND. Chris Gordon's charge is dropping in class and scored with enough in hand to suggest that a 7lb rise is surmountable. Mojito Des Mottes and Eternal Angel add further spice to the mix.

Top Tip: Nap Hand (5)
Watch out for: Edelak (1)

It's hard to oppose EDELAK, who has won his last five completed starts and might be capable of going in again despite his latest 8lb rise. He has his conditions and, given his fine Aga Khan pedigree, there's a chance he'll just keep on progressing. Mojito Des Mottes rates the danger after he benefit from a drop in grade to win at Newton Abbot last time. He's back up in grade, and in the weights, but like the selection is only a 4yo so could still have more to offer. Eternal Angel is another bang in-form runner who needs respecting.
