Verdict

With solid recent form thin on the ground, this could prove a suitable opportunity for INVINCIBLE CROWN to secure a fifth career victory. The four-year-old is only 3lb higher than his Musselburgh triumph at the end of June and edges the vote over Hurt You Never. Adrian Nicholls' mare has tumbled down the ratings and may prove dangerous fitted in first-time blinkers. Stable debutant Little Jaybee is worth a market check too.

INVINCIBLE CROWN was given too much to do behind an all the way winner on his follow up attempt last time but can make amends here. He was only a place behind a next time out winner and gets to race off a 1lb lower mark here. Her biggest dangers may be the pair of fillies who are tumbling down the weights in Little Jaybee and Star Marian. Both are yet to match their AW efforts on turf but the latter's jockey booking suggests a big run is expected.
