MY GIRL KATIE ticks plenty of boxes having won on this ground as well as over course and distance when successful here in July by a length and a quarter despite a mistake at the last. That was her first start in 11 months and the expected improvement could negate her 7lb rise in the handicap. Great D'Ange was second to the selection that day and may fill the same spot here, while Sir Carnegie cannot be dismissed.
MY GIRL KATIE defied an absence of nearly a year last time and should be able to follow up with her 7lb rise offset by her jockey's claim. She's won her last couple of starts on fast ground and can account for veteran Limerick Leader who has returned to form for his new yard recently. He remains well treated on his old efforts and can fill the podium with inconsistent C&D winner Honey I'm Good who went too fast last time but has dropped to a workable mark.
