Expert View Verdict

Verdict

This is definitely a race where the betting market should be scrutinised. Flower Show, Miss You Nights and Lily Pink have hinted at ability and set the standard. However, John & Thady Gosden launch the careers of two notable fillies, with Catonahottinroof looking a likely type on paper. Even so, ZHURI, whose dam is a sister to Frankel, has a really intriguing profile and is suggested as the first one to consider given her sparkling pedigree.

This likely a strong novice. Lily Pink sets the standard for those to have raced but is surely vulnerable here with Flower Show likely to improve past her. She had lots go wrong on debut at Sandown and should have finished closer. Marked improvement is to be expected up to 8f now but she could have her work cut out if ZHURI lives up to her pedigree - she's a sister to this year's Oaks runner-up Legacy Link. Her top yard are more than capable of readying one and it's easy to see the daughter of Dubawi in Group races before long. Gainful is another interesting newcomer for a top trainer that has a good record in this race.
