Verdict

Moon Warp steps up in trip on his handicap debut for Sir Mark Prescott and if he is supported in the early markets, he has to be on the shortlist in this small field. Ziggy's Avenger has a win to his name after success at Ripon and wasn't disgraced when fifth at Windsor since, but JOHN HARRISON may have the edge. A running-on third over the Salisbury mile last month, if he gets the trip he could win for the first time here.

Watch out for: Ziggy's Avenger (1)

Ziggy's Avenger scored a couple of starts back with a bit in hand and was well backed last time. He'll no doubt be popular again and should run well off a decent mark. Preference though is for JOHN HARRISON who appeared to finish really well over a mile last time and could well improve markedly at this trip. The remainder are hard to recommend, Moon Warp possibly being third best entirely because he has been racing over the wrong trips and finally gets the sort of distance he needs here.
