Jim Goldie has won two of the last six runnings of this and any market support for Fear And Fast, having his first start since wind surgery, would be of interest. So Grateful failed to fire here last month but finished second on his previous three starts suggesting he has chances of a top-three finish, yet SIXCOR gets the nod. A ten-time winner including last time out at Wolverhampton, he is twice a C&D winner and looks well-drawn in the 11 stall.
SIXCOR returned to form when scoring by a half-a-length at Wolverhampton last time and, only 3lb higher, has a good chance if building on that back on turf. He also tends to go well here, with a couple of C&D successes. Ski Angel was beaten only three quarters of a length when returning to form here last time and, just 1lb higher, can go well again at a track where she goes very well. Doralee has been running to a fair level and, on the same mark after finishing three lengths behind at Wolverhampton last time, should go close again.
