105 Expert View: Returned to form aided by late faller landing a handicap by 12l off a 4lb lower mark here last time; effective up to 2m4f, acts on soft, good; generally consistent and should remain competitive.

102 Expert View: Far too free comfortably held in a handicap chase at Stratford last time; effective 2m-2m3f; head carriage a worry and needs to get back to level of debut form.
105 Expert View: Bit keen but ran to form back down in trip, possibly needed run after wind op when fourth beaten 5 1/2l in a handicap hurdle at Southwell latest; second run after wind op; effective 2m; should come on for latest, can go well on chase debut.
102 Expert View: No obvious excuse comfortably held in a handicap chase at Stratford last time; effective 2m, needs sound surface; back in form until latest.
97 Expert View: Improved for better ground off light weight, looks weak form landing a handicap by a short-head off a 4lb lower mark at Huntingdon last time; usually held up; off a short-break; effective 2m, acts on good; needs to build on latest improvement.
Verdict
LHEUR DE GLOIRE showed a consistent level of form over hurdles and is expected to improve for the switch to fences. He is entitled to come on for his last run which was his first since a wind op and he will be suited by conditions here. Last time out C&D winner Catchim looks the obvious danger with an easy lead possible but he was slightly fortunate last time as a challenger fell late so he will need to improve again. The generally consistent Cawthorne Cracker can complete the tricast.
