GETAWAY VIC showed plenty of promise when filling second place over 2m6f at Cartmel last time and that followed a close fourth at Ffos Las. A reproduction of either of those efforts would give Mickey Bowen's gelding a big chance here. Royal Rocket could prove to be the main threat following his Warwick second, although Premier Fantasy should not be underestimated.
A good maiden can go to GETAWAY VIC who has already been successful in points and bumpers. He's shaped with promise on both hurdle starts so far and is latest run is worth marking up as he was ridden too aggressively. Another point winner Premier Fantasy chased home a decent yardstick on his hurdles bow and should appreciate this step up in trip. The same can be said of the steadily progressive Royal Rocket and that pair look the main dangers.
