Verdict

Edergole's Gift showed more when finishing a fair fourth in this class over 6f here latest and is noted, but it may pay to side with TURPIN. Jim Boyle's charge has shown improved form since sporting a visor, most recently finishing third at Yarmouth, and he could record a first career success. Of the remainder, Raqraaq makes the most appeal.

Watch out for: Edergole's Gift (2)

TURPIN could shed his maiden tag here. He has hinted that his turn is near on his last couple of outings and his last run is worth marking up as he did too much too soon having missed the break. That form has been franked and a repeat should be enough to see off consistent C&D winner Zaltalla who should appreciate the step back up in distance. Victory Sound has an awful strike rate but was running into form prior to his latest outing so is also of interest at a bigger price.
