Verdict

Eskimo Pie boasts an official rating of 87 and sets the standard. However, she has to be forgiven a poor effort in novice company at Nottingham last time and BRIGHT SUMMER is preferred. The daughter of Dark Angel will have learnt plenty from last month's debut fourth at Newbury and given that the form has since been franked, Andrew Balding's charge gets the nod. Hatour, Thursday Girl and Music Academy are all worth a second look.
