Verdict

It took SUNLIT SEA 10 attempts to break her duck, but she wasted no time in adding further success to her CV when scoring at Thirsk. The daughter of Mehmas reverts to an artificial surface from only 3lb higher and looks well worth keeping onside while a few others have something to prove. That doesn't apply to Guernsey Lady, who arrives having hit the frame at Bath and Ffos Las. Carefree Dream should appreciate an ease in grade.

SUNLIT SEA has been in excellent form, following up a six-length C&D success with another win at Thirsk last time, and her willing attitude suggests she can cope with another small rise to complete the hat-trick back at this track. Guernsey Lady has been running consistently well, including finishing runner-up by a couple of lengths at Ffos Las last time, and remains on a competitive mark, so can close again switched back to the all-weather. Carefree Dream is only 1lb above her last winning mark and can be competitive here at her best.
