A weak contest for a Grade 2, the first two at least useful as hurdlers and/or chasers but third and fourth distinctly modest and not beaten as far as might have been expected in a race run at a steady pace if the clear leader is ignored.
CONCERTISTA (c129+ here, 143 previously) did what was asked of her under a well-judged ride at this longer trip but faced a far from exacting task, jumping well in mid-field until bearing down to lead 2 out, shaken up and a bit untidy at the last but never coming under much pressure and scoring readily. So far, so good, for a mare who reached a rating of 153 as a hurdler.
DARRENS HOPE (c120+ here, 104+ previously) bettered her previous 2 efforts over fences and could well get to a similar level as she managed as a hurdler (rated 137), in second much of the way, every chance 2 out then one paced.
FIZZLESTICK (c98 here, unraced previously) was modest as a hurdler and may not have achieved any more here.
A GIRL LIKE ME (c98 here, 86 previously) had been beaten off a mark of 93 previously and helps to limit the assessment of the form.
KITTY GALORE (c96 here, 129? previously) failed to stay having been a clear leader for a long way.
