The veteran EARLS has run well on his last couple of outings and may be able to get back into the winners' enclosure. He was a close-up second to Monvoe in a good finish at Limerick last month and is only 1lb higher now. He is versatile ground-wise, having won on good and heavy. Molto Amichi is winless after 14 attempts and is a touch frustrating. He made a bold bid from the front at Leopardstown last time, before getting collared in the closing stages, and should run well again. French import American Lawyer is a bit of an unknown quantity and one to keep an eye on in the market.
Coming off a good second over 9f at Leopardstown, this looks a good opening for MOLTO AMICHI, who has been nudged up 2lb but is still competitively weighted and rates the most likely winner. Louiescall was a winner when last seen on the Flat but his most recent efforts have been over hurdles. He's got an absence to overcome, so Earls rates the bigger threat coming off back-to-back runner-up efforts.
