Verdict
Quite a few with chances, but the vote goes to Sean Woods' STATE EXPRESS. The colt left his novice/maiden form behind him to score over 1m6f at Southwell on handicap bow and a 4lb rise should be no barrier to further success given that he could have plenty to offer over this marathon trip. Noble Grace won over 1m4f at Ffos Las in July and showed her versatility with a win over 2m2f at Pontefract three weeks ago. She's a real player along with La Trinite, while Femme Fatale and Ada Rose enter calculations too.
Top Tip:

Watch out for:
Noble Grace
(4)
Plenty look well handicapper here including NOBLE GRACE who relished the step up to staying distances when powering clear of a small field at Pontefract last time. She's only gone up 3lb for that and proved herself effective on the AW in the spring so gets the verdict. The consistent Ada Rose was only narrowly denied last time and remains relatively unexposed over staying trips. She can pose the biggest challenge ahead of last time out winner La Trinite who has gone up 5lb but remains well treated on her summer form.
