Form Snapshot: Half-brother to Magical Merlin, won twice at 6f.
68 Expert View: Frankel colt; full-brother to Bretton Wood, useful at 7f as 2yo; dam high-class at 6f at 2yo; attractively bred and not out of this for a trainer who has a fair record with juveniles this term.
Form Snapshot: Half-brother to Polly Peculiar, won five times between 7f and 1m 2f.
54 Expert View: 14,000gns Kingman gelding; full-brother to Nikovo, smart at 8f; dam smart at 11f; probably best watched on debut.
Form Snapshot: Full brother to Nikovo, won five times between 7f and 1m 1f.
40 Expert View: Failed to build on debut effort comfortably held in a maiden at Ffos Las last time; sire top-class 6/7f, dam effective 7/8f; breeding suggests should be capable of more, needs to prove it.
Form Snapshot: Unplaced in both starts. Well beaten at 40-1 behind Wootz when sixth of 8 on his latest outing at Ffos Las over 1m (good) earlier this month.
68 Expert View: 12,000gns Too Darn Hot filly; half-sister to Elegant Friend, very useful at 10f; dam very smart at 8f; trainer in form; good chance on debut.
Form Snapshot: Yet to place in three starts. Finished 3 1/2l behind Abbey Road when sixth of 17 at 17-2 on her latest outing at Saint-Cloud over 1m (good to soft) in April. Having her first run for a new stable today, previously with A&L Fabre in France.
90 Expert View: Ran to form when second beaten a neck in a handicap at Wolverhampton latest; effective 7f, probably stays 8f, on AW; already very useful, should be capable of winning soon.
Form Snapshot: Placed twice in four starts. Beaten a neck by Espanita when second of 10 at 14-1 on her latest outing at Wolverhampton over 7f last month.
77 Expert View: Forced wide from poor draw, modest debut beaten 10l in a maiden at Sandown on debut; top course trainer; returning from long layoff; wide draw; effective 7f; should come on for initial effort.
Form Snapshot: Finished 10l behind Deedaydiva when sixth of 7 at 9-2 on her racecourse debut at Sandown over 7f (soft) in August last year.
59 Expert View: Poor well beaten in a maiden at Yarmouth only start; sire and dam both useful sprinters; plenty of progress needed.
Form Snapshot: Dam won three times at 5f and 6f. Well beaten at 40-1 behind Splash when last of 5 on her racecourse debut at Yarmouth over 7f (good to firm) last month.
98 Expert View: Ran to same level of promise as first two starts 2 1/2l third in a maiden at Windsor most recent run; off a short-break; effective 8/9f, acts on good and AW; very big chance of opening account based on overall form.
Form Snapshot: Placed in all three of her starts. Third of 10 behind Cap Santa Lucia beaten 2 1/2l at 7-2 on her latest outing at Windsor over 1m (good) in May.
MILE END ROAD boasts an excellent homebred pedigree, being out of Prix Morny winner Pretty Pollyanna, and it would be no surprise if James Owen's colt were more than capable of making a successful start to his career. Withtearsinmyeyes brings a consistent level of form to proceedings and commands plenty of respect, while others to note include Merry and Graniteville.
WITHTEARSINMYEYES has shown a consistent level of form in her first three starts, having not finished outside the top three, and was beaten only by a couple of lengths when third at Windsor last time. She's shown enough to suggest a win is just around the corner and looks to have a very big chance of opening her account. Graniteville is an interesting newcomer, having cost 12,000gns as a Too Darn Hot filly with a nice pedigree, while an in-form Marco Botti adds to her appeal, so can go well on debut. Merry was at her best when a narrowly denied runner-up at Wolverhampton last time and, already useful, should also be capable of winning soon.
