JACK DOYEN quickly supplemented a Hereford victory with a Newton Abbot triumph and went down with all guns blazing on his hat-trick mission at Hexham. A further 2lb rise still leaves him well treated on the pick of his form and he can continue to capitalise. Cloudy Wednesday claimed this prize back in 2023 and the application of blinkers could help him rediscover that sort of sparkle. Kapamazov will appreciate the drop from 3m, while Chateau Du Lys took a step back in the right direction at Market Rasen.
CLOUDY WEDNESDAY went too fast last time but the C&D winner should get an easy lead here and will be tough to peg back in first time blinkers. He's generally in good form and has dropped to just 1lb above his last winning mark. The largely consistent Jack Doyen has banished his enthusiasm questions recently and looks the biggest threat on form ahead of frustrating maiden Kapamazov who can often finish weakly.
