89 Expert View: £22,000 Maxios gelding; dam runner-up in a point, related to a 2m4f hurdles winner; probably best watched on debut.
Form Snapshot: Dam a lightly raced maiden.
104 Expert View: Some promise on debut well beaten in a 4yo bumper here only start; improvement likely and should go well in a weak race here.
Form Snapshot: Finished 17l behind Running Happy when fifth of 8 at 10-3 on his racecourse debut over this course and distance (good) last month.
93 Expert View: Found little, modest debut well beaten in a bumper at Hereford; improvement needed but this is a weak race.
Form Snapshot: Dam a lightly raced maiden. Well beaten at 11-1 behind Crystal Jet when eighth of 11 on his racecourse debut at Hereford over 2m (good) last month.
100 Expert View: Blue Bresil filly; half-sister to St Irene, very useful at 16f; one to consider on debut for good yard in what is a weak race.
Form Snapshot: Half-sister to St Irene, won twice over hurdles at 1m 7f and 2m and in NH flat race at 2m.
100 Expert View: 30,000 euros Blue Bresil filly; half-sister to Fedneys Park, moderate from 16f to 24f; one to consider on debut for good trainer who is represented by two.
Form Snapshot: Half-sister to Fedneys Park, won in a point to point race at 3m.
ISLAND GETAWAY showed his inexperience here, but there was promise to take from that fifth placing and the booking of Sean Bowen suggests connections expect him to take a significant step forward. Meli Melo D'angos faded tamely at Hereford so the chief threats are likely to lurk among the unraced brigade. St Julie is related to the yard's Listed-winning hurdler St Irene, who landed a bumper on debut, and looks Nick Scholfield's primary hope, ahead of fellow Blue Bresil filly St Zoe.
A dreadully weak bumper. ISLAND GETAWAY ended up well beaten here on debut but still looked a little green and could improve considerably for that experience. He's from a good yard and rates the most likely winner ahead of Meli Melo d'Angos, who was well held himself on debut but should improve. Nick Scholfield runs two newcomers in St Julie and St Zoe. The market should be revealing regarding their chance.
