Expert View Verdict

Verdict

TOCA MADERA's effort at York a week ago can be forgiven and his previous efforts in defeat suggest that he could play a leading role on this occasion. That includes a fifth in the Stewards' Cup over 6f here and the five-year-old is 1lb lower. Dyonisos caught the eye when unlucky in running over C&D a month ago and should not be underestimated, while Naana's Sparkle and Democracy Dilemma complete the shortlist.

Top Tip: Toca Madera (3)
Watch out for: Dyonisos (7)

It's hard to fault the claims of ALL WAYS GLAMOROUS, who although failing in his bid for a hat-trick at Ascot last time, still ran right up to his best and goes from the same mark here. Lexington Blitz had excuses last time and but is considered on his earlier efforts which include a slightly unlucky sixth at Glorious Goodwood. He's the danger although dropping to 5f will very much suit Toca Madera who was a good third at York two starts back before disappointing over 6f last time.
