Verdict

EABHA is 9lb and upwards ahead of those who have qualified for an official rating and, despite a slightly disappointing effort in the May Hill Stakes at Doncaster recently, she looks the one to side with. The Space Blues filly ran a blinder when runner-up in the Prestige Stakes over C&D on her penultimate start and a repeat of that performance would make her tough to beat. Fillipas wasn't disgraced in Group 3 company at Salisbury and she may improve for stepping up in trip, while Zigazig Ah and Coral Cove are other names to note.

A big field but it's EABHA who stands out as the pick. The Eve Johnson Houghton filly has progressed from winning handicaps, finishing a fine second in the Group 3 Prestige Stakes over C&D at the end of August, and she seemed stretched by 8f on easy ground in a Group 2 at Doncaster last time. She's conceding weight to all bar one, but not that much and holds strong claims at these weights. Tikka is the danger and a fascinating one at that. An impressive winner at Kempton on August's debut, she's seemingly held in high regard and is getting 6lb from the selection, so is very much one to take seriously. Fillipas is third choice having run well in a Group 3 over 6f last time. She looks to want this 7f trip. Zigazig Ah will be happier back on faster ground and has a chance also is staying the trip.
