KNIGHTMARE deservedly opened his account at Chepstow having filled the runner-up spot three times on the trot and with nearly all of these having something to prove, David Evans' charge is fancied to shoulder a 5lb penalty to further success. King of The Dance finished second here before being hampered and unseating at Chepstow. He looks best placed to challenge the selection, with Alexandra Egan removing a handy 7lb. Lhebayeb completes the shortlist.

KNIGHTMARE belatedly got off the mark last time and is chosen to follow up in a similar contest. He beat an in form rival over 1m on fast ground that day and a repeat would be enough to see off King Of The Dance. That rival has proven consistent over 7-8f on varying ground for some time and looks the obvious danger. Lhebayeb was a winner on the AW in the spring and will also be a threat if building on her recent revival.
