Verdict

An Interesting race. Western Cape raider SONG TO THE MOON is not in the top 6 best-weighted runners for this race. He does still seem capable of winning a race of this nature. GLOBAL ALLY broke a long losing run when scoring in his penultimate start but did not repeat that last time out. He is a real threat to these rivals, though. PAS DE NOM did not show his best last time out but does represent bang-in-form trainer Jacques Strydom. HONORABLE MEMBER and GEORGE HANDEL are better than their most recent runs and deserve some respect. GINGER DELIGHT has won on the turf but does seem to prefer the Polytrack these days. HEEMSTEDE is capable of getting into the thick of the finish as well.
