Verdict

PIAZZA wasn't at all disgraced on her first appearance in 10 months when fifth at Kempton. The daughter of Starspangledbanner should take a decent step forward in what appears to be a winnable contest on paper. Madman runs off the same mark as when filling the runner-up spot at Salisbury last month and is respected, along with Credit Forgedd It and Ice Cube.

Watch out for: Madman (7)

A moderate handicap, it can go to the top weight PIAZZA, who has run two solid races since handicapping, including when she should have finished closer at Kempton last time. She's been eased 2lb and has a bigger effort in her yet. Madman, back to his best when runner-up over 6f at Salisbury last time, has a chance here if building on that, although Oisin Murphy is an interesting booking for Ice Cube who is dropping down from a Class 4.
