Verdict

Having shaped as though returning to form when fifth at Down Royal recently, DAONETHATGOTAWAY can land a fourth win at this venue. Regular jockey Reese Holohan is a huge positive in a race of this nature and the Mark Fahey-trained gelding is now 2lb lower than when second here in March. Celtic Druid, who won twice over C&D earlier in the year, looks a big threat. Sadhbh Tormey, who was on board for both of those victories, retains the ride here. Lightly raced on the Flat, Direct Approach is an interesting handicap debutant for Gordon Elliott. The booking of the well-regarded Conor Cusack suggests that connections are expecting a big run.

Pavilion End is solid and should again go well, while Nakasero, a former course scorer, ran well when runner-up at Naas last time. The selection, though, is DIRECT APPROACH.
