Verdict

With recent solid form thin on the ground, this could prove a suitable opportunity for JODORO to make a winning handicap bow. The five-year-old arrives on the back of a respectable fifth at Kilbeggan and an official rating of 95 looks workable. Although Polly Poppins hasn't been seeing out her races over fences of late, she looks nicely treated reverting to the smaller obstacles judged on last year's form. Bernard Crowley's mare is feared most, ahead of Centaq, who could improve for the introduction of a tongue-tie.

An open race where plenty can be given a chance. Mad Maxios may have won for departing on his last run in the UK and starts out for his new yard off a generous mark so is likely to prove popular. However he hasn't been seen on the track this year and may just need this. In form Georginas Jet went too fast last time and failed to stay 2 1/2m but is expected to quickly bounce back over this shorter trip. Burlington House represents an in form stable and is well treated on his novice form from last year. He's entitled to come on for this last run and will go close if the ground isn't too quick. However a chance is taken on INVINCIBLE OSCAR who caught the eye on her return from a long lay off last time where she travelled strongly. She should come on for that and is a likely improver for a local yard with an excellent record at the track.
