Verdict

FACTUAL FACT can land this valuable prize. The Authorized gelding clipped heels and stumbled shortly after the start here last time and he raced keenly as a result. He pulled his way to the front, but still looked the likely winner when kicking a few lengths clear passing the two-furlong marker. Poetic Sound wore him down eventually, but it was a fine run given the circumstances and dropping back in trip should be no problem. The Real Screamer arrives here in search of a hat-trick and must be respected along with Obscenity, who is also in fine form.

A chance is taken on dual purpose performer IN MY TEENS who remains relatively unexposed in this sphere. She was far from disgraced under a considerate ride over an inadequate 10f on her Flat return and looks well treated on her autumn form at this venue. Maiden winner Marazion is 10lb higher than when last seen in a handicap debut she went close that day and has improved again in Group company since. She can provide the main challenge along with veteran Star Harbour who has a poor strike rate but had tumbled down the weights prior to returning to form last time. He will relish the quick conditions here.
