A Group 2 run at a steady gallop that emphasised late speed, it produced an impressive winner in Green Empress who was value for a lot more than a neck margin of victory. She should be hard to beat in the Moyglare over the same course and distance at the Irish Champions Festival next month, her trainer commenting afterwards that she had missed some time since her last start.

GREEN EMPRESS had finished runner-up to Sun Goddess on both her previous starts, markedly narrowing the gap in the second meeting, and she broke her maiden in style here. Always travelling well behind the leaders, she had to wait a long time for a gap but quickened up sharply to lead on the line. A strongly run race on slower ground would be a new test, but she is the one to beat in the Moyglare.

DANCING DESTINY is a likeable and consistent sort, and she ran her best race on her sixth start of the season. Always close to the pace, she was well-positioned but again looked as if in need of a stiffer test and a further step up in trip should bring improvement.

ALPHA was very strong in the betting but had no excuses. She made the running as she had done in her wide-margin maiden win here in June but could only match the level of form she showed when winning the Silver Flash in workmanlike fashion last time.

IBELIEVEICANFLY travelled nicely but had every chance though she was not knocked about.

BLONDE OVER BLUE was never involved and has not gone on from her initial win. That victory came on slow ground and that may be important to her.
