Verdict

Glory Of The Seas could prove popular in the Godolphin blue for Roger Varian, but he needs to take a step forward after a seven-and-a-half-length fourth at Newbury. GALIYAN showed his inexperience on debut at Newmarket when ducking at the start and running green before finishing fourth, but it will be a huge surprise if he doesn't learn plenty from that experience. Joulany is getting better with racing and cannot be discounted, while Distorted Truth needs forgiving her last run to figure.

A good maiden that can go to JOULANY, who boasts the best form and, as a son of See The Stars who is related to multiple middle-distance Group scorer Al Aasy, he might improve now upped to 12f with the hood removed. Galiyan looks the most likely to trouble the selection, having shaped with promise over an inadequate 10f on his Newmarket debut. He should relish the extra 2f here. Eben Al Khawaneej represents last year's winning connections and could improve to have a say, but he certainly needs more.
