Verdict

CAYMAN TAI gave notice a return to winning ways was imminent when second at Windsor. Richard Hannon's charge went on to score emphatically at Southwell next time and whilst 4lb well-in under the penalty, he can go in again. On Edge has won three times at this venue and could be in the mix on his belated seasonal bow, while Over Spiced could also have a say if back on song.

Watch out for: On Edge (1)

In The City made a disappointing return but needs considering on the pick of his 3yo efforts. A safer option if undoubtedly CAYMAN TAI, though. He showed his best form in 12 months when winning well at Southwell last time and might be up to defying a penalty back on turf. So Smart is the third choice, having run well when third over C&D last time.
