Sea Palace and Maximus Meridius are others to note on their first starts in this company.
DOWMAN has shown plenty of promise in his short career, winning a novice at Windsor before finishing a close second from this mark on his nursery debut at Yarmouth last time. Representing the in-form George Boughey yard, he looks capable of further progress in this sort of company and can go close again. Pj's Corner improved again to open his account on handicap debut at Leicester and, with only a 3lb rise to contend with, can remain competitive. Sea Palace has shown ability in both starts, with the form of his debut outing at Hamilton boosted at Royal Ascot, and could also have more to offer now switching to handicaps.
